William Blackwood Sanders studied wool classing at the South Australian School of Mines and Industry in 1901 and 1902 and subsequently gained employment in varying capacities at sheep stations in both Western and South Australia. In 1914 he married Eva Lyle Jenkins had had two sons. His collection in the South Australian Museum Archives comprises photographs.
