Ernest Kramer worked as a missionary with his wife Euphemia and family from 1913. From 1925 to 1934 they were involved with the Aborigines' Friends Association. During this time Kramer travelled around Central Australia on numerous expeditions. The Kramer collection in the South Australian Museum Archives comprises expedition diaries, papers and photographs.
