Herman Friedrich Schrader, variously spelt Schrauder and Schroder, was a painter variously working in Sydney and Adelaide where he died in 1863.

The South Australian Museum contains two paintings titled: ‘Tenberry, a chief on the Murray’ and ‘Tenberry’s Lubra’.
