A Different Time: The Expedition Photographs of Herbert Basedow 1903-1928

Explore central and northern Australia through the lens of Herbert Basedow, anthropologist, geologist, explorer and doctor. Displayed alongside collection items from the South Australian Museum, this is a travelling exhbition presented by the National Museum of Australia.

The Namatjira Project Exhibtion

Inspired by Big hART's recent theatre production, the Namatjira Project exhibition combines portraits by Robert Hannaford, Evert Ploeg and Michael Peck with original watercolours by Albert Namatjira's descendants. The exhibition also features early craft works by Albert Namatjira from the South Australian Museum's collection.

Book now for hands-on storytelling sessions every Friday focused on a world of discovery for kids 3-5 years old. Sessions are free but strictly limited.
