We're off to the Anangu, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands again! This marks our third year visiting this remote community, and we're glad to be heading back to share more stories with them!
Mike Gemmell - Our Unsung Hero
Congratulations to our Information Centre Manager Mike Gemmell who was awarded South Australia's Unsung Hero of Science Communication as part of National Science Week. Mike has been with the Museum for over 20 years and is a wealth of information and enthusiasm for our natural world.
See this beautiful exhibition of contemporary Indigenous ceramics from Ernabella Arts, on display as part of the 2012 Ceramics Triennale, Subversive Clay. Ceramic pieces are for sale.
Credit Union Christmas Pageant Trail
Join this free community event from 4-7 October. Collect your free passport and follow the trail to more than 15 sites in the North Terrace cultural precinct. Celebrate the Pageant with footage, float designs, costumes, entertainers, dancing, face painters, costume workshops and an 80 metre canvas for the whole community to paint.
