Aboriginal Artwork Wins Waterhouse for First Time

An Australian Aboriginal artwork has won the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize overall prize for the first time in the prize's history.

Margaret Loy Pula's painting Anatye (Bush Potato) was selected from among 98 finalists as the best in the competition. The exhibition will be on display from 21 July to 9 September.
