Scott Hartshorne has won the People's Choice Award with his artwork Mallee Arabesque in the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize. 

Scott Farrand won the inaugural Dr Wendy Wickes Memoriam Prize with Jellyfish. The prize is awarded to the artwork that formally recognises the underlying scientific message in art.
