Wing Commander Tindale

This exhibition has now ended.

Tindale played an important role during WWII and in post-war intelligence operations. Tindale's military story is brought to light using maps, original archival documents, photographs, medals and Tindale's military uniform.

Tindale was a prominent Ethnologist and expert on the Lepidoptera moth species, and is better known today for his contribution to Australian Aboriginal anthropology, linguistics and entomology.
