About the festival

The Adelaide Festival Centre is holding the 2015 Come Out Children’s Festival from 22-30 May 2015, with a multitude of arts experiences for schools and families.

Come Out is an intrinsic part of growing up in South Australia. With 21 festivals over 40 years it has cemented its reputation among the world’s great festivals for young people. In excess of two million South Australian children have participated in a Come Out Children’s Festival since its inception in 1974. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Come Out Children’s Festival and the Adelaide Festival Centre is proud and excited to be the Festival’s new custodian.
