It's been a big day for Inspiring Australia in South Australia today with the launch of the next phase of the program.
The new $1 million state-wide initiative to inspire South Australians with their local science is being launched by State and Federal Ministers and Science Week event organisers at the South Australian Museum.View

Punuku Tjukurpa - Anangu wooden artefacts, objects, culture and stories
Artworks and objects made by three generations of Anangu artists will feature in Punuku Tjukurpa, an exhibition being hosted by the South Australian Museum from 28 March-17 May 2015.
Presented by Artback NT, the Northern Territory’s visual and performing arts touring agency, and curated by the former Director of Maruku Arts, Stephen Fox, in collaboration with Artback NT, Maruku Arts and emerging curator Joanne S Cooley, Punuku Tjukurpa is the first touring exhibition of artworks from the Maruku Arts archive based at Mutitjulu, near Uluru in the Northern Territory.View

Iridescence: Museum Collections a Riot of Colour
Drawing from the vast collections of the South Australian Museum, Iridescence is a new exhibition that examines the beautiful, shimmering wonder of the iridescent, when colour is seen despite the absence of pigment.
Opening December 12 2014 at 10am, Iridescence highlights the beauty and science behind this glistening, multi-coloured natural phenomenon. From beetles and bubbles to peacocks and pearls, iridescence has fascinated and delighted humans for millennia.
This eye catching brightness attracts us and heightens our awareness, but its unpredictable nature also keeps us on guard… now you see it, now you don’t.View
