You can download a map of the Museum here or pick up one in our free Visitor’s guide. This is available in the main foyer along with exhibition brochures.
Large bags and backpacks must be checked in at the Information Desk upon entry. This is a free service. No luggage please.
Toilets, parents’ room, café, shop and other amenities are clearly marked on the Museum map. If you need any assistance during your visit, please ask our friendly security staff.
The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible with lifts to all levels. A wheelchair can also be booked with our Security staff for use in the Museum. A disabled parking space can be found behind the Museum (enter through the boom gate on Morgan Thomas Lane). A valid disability parking permit must be displayed at all times.
There is a Recharge Point for electric mobility scooters and wheelchairs in the North foyer.
Seeing and hearing assistance dogs are welcome.

Galleries and outdoor areas are protected by CCTV and monitored by our security staff for the safety of our visitors, staff and exhibits. Please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. Your safety is important to us and we encourage you to report any suspicious behaviour.

You may take photographs and video for personal use in the Museum unless otherwise stated. Personal use includes sharing on personal social media pages, but not on company websites.
Flash photography and tripods are generally not permitted, although an exemption may be negotiated through prior arrangement (contact firstname.lastname@example.org). The Museum reserves the right to refuse requests at its discretion.
