A FREE program for children 3–5 years old

Tell Me a Story is designed especially for 3-5 year olds to immerse them in the stories and objects of the South Australian Museum.

The presenters use play experiences that engage the senses, incorporating story, song, dance, poetry, observation, exploration, communication and handling of Museum collection items. 

The program draws on the Museums' rich resources to nurture children's curiosity with nature and culture and build their skills of understanding through play. Every child receives a free take-home gift. 

The 2013 program runs on weekdays at the end of the month.

Numbers are strictly limited to 10 children for public sessions and 20 for kindy and early learning group sessions. Please inform us of any cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the event so we can secure a place for others.

*Museum closed on Good Friday 29 March. Program does not run in December.
