Location: Southern and eastern shores of Princess Charlotte Bay; inland to tidal limits of Normanby and north Kennedy rivers; at Lakefield. A relatively high incidence of cleft palate exists among members of this tribe. It is thought to have influenced their speech patterns; linguists have not noticed this fact.
