Location
The Museum is located at North Terrace, Adelaide, next to the Art Gallery and the State Library.
Opening times
The Museum is open every day from 10am–5pm, including weekends and all public holidays except Christmas Day and Good Friday. We open at 12 noon on ANZAC Day (25 April).
The Museum Shop is open Monday - Sunday from 10am-4.45pm.
The Museum Café is open Monday - Sunday from 10am-4pm.
The coffee caravan on North Terrace is open Monday-Friday from 8am.
The Discovery Centre is open from 10:30am-2:30pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Discovery Centre is currently unable to accept any donations or specimens for identification, visit Identification FAQs for more information.
