Flash photography and tripods are generally not permitted, although an exemption may be negotiated through prior arrangement (contact media@samuseum.sa.gov.au). The Museum reserves the right to refuse requests at its discretion.

EDITORIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING

Contact the Marketing and Communications team to discuss a photographic or film shoot for news media for editorial purposes only.

COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING

The Museum’s heritage-listed buildings and galleries make for a striking venue for commercial filming and photography.

Crews wishing to film or photograph on Museum grounds for commercial purposes should contact the Museum’s Marketing and Communications team. 

Each proposal is assessed and costed individually.
