Died : 17 December, 2001

Rev. Shepherdson, Methodist Missionary married Isabella Gray Govenlock 1927 and joined the mission coastal lugger for their posting to Milingimbi, arriving 28 April 1928. Prior and post history scanty.

Diaries (AA 320/1) appear to be in Mrs Shepherdson's hand as references to Rev. in third person.

Made Member of the British Empire in 1955.

Accession 2379 annotated 12 February 1980 by L Satterthait to the effect that copyright is not held by SAMuseum, that the collection contains restricted (men only) material, and that Robert Silson was given permission to copy 56 photographs by Shepherdson's son. Some of the material was transferred from the NB Tindale (AA 338) collection to AA 320.
