Two kinds of cards:
1. Specimen cards, few typed, many hand written cards arranged alphabetically by genus or species and author/date of publication. Includes Cuttings of printed drawings of insects associated with publication details. While the cards appear to be out of order they are listed as received for processing.

2. Author index for journal entries, gives citations of author and publication. Arranged in alphabetical order by author. Most include a set of line drawings from the article indexed.
