Prints are copied from portion of 56 boxes containing 672 glass negatives (6.5x4.75 ins) illustrating bones of Australian/foreign archaeological/human biological nature, see AA 263/11.

The description of this series commences in negative number sequence. Not all negative numbers have been identified and associated with every print for a variety of reasons.

The numbering system applied to photographs is as follows:
Nxxx = negative number, Sxxxc = specimen number. The Australia Museum reference Bxxxx is subject to further investigation. Negative numbers previously allocated, lists and original system subject to research.
