This series comprises one black and white (b/w) halftone print, which is probably a clipping from one of the Aborigines' Friends' Association publications. The print has a caption printed below the image which reads 'The missionary negotiating rough country in the Macdonnel Ranges' [sic]. The missionary in the image is probably Ernest E Kramer (see AA 669). The print is stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 3 of 4'.
South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. This caption listed by Kay Mead has been retained as the 'Series Title'. The caption found printed below the image has been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory. Unrelated text printed on the rear of the image has not been listed. All place names and proper names from the annotations and caption have been indexed.
The series was part of Acc. No. 86.
This series contains references to Northern Territory.
