This series comprises personal correspondence to and from Tindale for the period 1929. A majority of correspondence in this series is centred on the exchange of field work research, objects, specimens, photographs and anthropological data between Tindale and his research colleagues. This includes specimens and data collected during Tindale's 1921-1922 Groote Eylandt (NT) expedition; and 1926-1927 Princess Charlotte Bay expedition in Far North Queensland.
