This series comprises personal correspondence to and from Tindale for the period 1933.
A large part of correspondence in the series details preparations for the 1933 expedition to the Musgrave Ranges (SA) and Ernabella (SA) originally instigated by the Board for Anthropological Research at the University of Adelaide and later led by NB Tindale and Rev. Theodore George Henry Strehlow (see AA 316) and accompanied by Dr Cecil John Hackett (see AA 122) and Allan Ferguson Brumby (see AA 42) .
