Duguid's photo albums were photocopied for the South Australian Museum prior to the transfer of the originals to the National Libray of Australia. In many cases the copies are not good quality in terms of clarity. Not all of the photos found in the albums are duplicated in AA 79/01. Some photographs which deal with either men's or women's ceremony are closed pending positive identification of cultural sensitivity and are located in a separate volume.

While there was a system of individual photo identification this has been obscured and a new number imposed. The new numbers do not run sequentially from album to album and it is not clear what the real sequence was.

Only individual albums have been indexed, so there is little detail provided to assist researchers.
