Continuation from page 106 (aa122/3/2/17). References opium consumption, the Cantonese language and the use of the abacus. Further the author searches, in vain, for an Australian Aboriginal person who could make stone or glass spear heads as pictured.

NOTE: The photographs in the journal have the same number ie 172. This is probably an error as the index of photographs list the photograph numbers as 172 & 173. Also the index indicates that photograph 173 is from a 1/2 plate negative.
