1. Photograph 35.5.9: 'Tolaru, a fine of fellow, good natured and benign. He has drawn so[me] Ceremony figures and will later talk of them. Natives readily take to drawing these objects although they have never before used the medium of crayons and paper. Colours in black, white, red and yellow.'
