Notes: This item is a digital transfer of the original nitrate from which AA 124/1/1-2 were made. This item was transferred in colour and contains the dark orange brown tinge of deteriorating nitrate film. Both Reel 1 and 2 contain intertitles. The history of this transfer has not been documented, however it seems likely that the original nitrate reels were not deposited with NFSA when all other SAMA nitrate films were deposited in 1979. Two Access VHS copies are available of this item, AA 124/1/11 & 12. The quality of this footage is exactly the same as the 2005 transfer, but because it is in 'colour' it at times appears to be of better quality.

This item was previously within the South Australian Museum collection (see AA 289) and was moved to the HM Hale collection in December

# This item comprises a set of paper cards bound with string numbering 2a-67, measuring 12.6x7.5cm. These contain instructions for the film processor regarding titles, intertitles, and the insertion of stills. This item was previously within the Board for Anthropological Research collection, AA 346/9, and was moved to the HM Hale collection in December 2005. See AA 124/1/16
