23-26 November 1980: Details of visits to various locations - Cape Martin (Beachport SA), Beachport Museum, Rendelsham (near Southend, SA), Woakwine Range (near Millicent, SA), Millicent National Trust Museum, Tantanoola Caves, Mount Gambier, Port Macdonnell via Mount Schank, Dingley Dell, Nelson (Vic), Portland (Vic), Penola (SA), Hamilton (Vic) via Casterton and Coleraine.

2 February 1981: Notes about the inspection of rock markings in Tantanoola Cave.

31 January to 2 February 1982: Details of a field excursion to the lower south east of South Australia.

The last page of the notebook has references to photos taken on 24 November 1980.

Inside a pouch in the rear cover is a sketch of a cross section from the coast near Robe to the Avenue Range.
