There are two notebooks labelled "Mendi:1" and "Mendi:2".
There is also a disc labelled "Ethnography of the Mendi Vols 1 & 2". This is a Word document transcription of the two notebooks done by Phil Fitzpatrick in October 2009.

    The notebook has a table of contents/index which has numbered chapters ("categories") related to daily life and the page numbers where these categories are found in the notebook. Artefacts collected during the expedition are referenced throughout the notebook by a circled field collection number, which corresponds to the numbers in the notebook titled "Field Register of Specimens" - AA255/14/10.

    There are numerous sketches throughout the notebook, as well as a loose map at the front and a loose sheet of notes at the back which looks like a checklist of things to be done.

    As in volume 1 there are numerous sketches. Artefacts collected during the expedition are referenced throughout the notebook by a circled field collection number, which corresponds to the numbers in the notebook titled "Field Register of Specimens" - AA255/14/10.

  3. Disc labelled "Ethnography of the Mendi Vols 1 & 2". This is a Word document transcription of the two notebooks produced by Phil Fitzpatrick in October 2009.
