These images are a collection of 35mm colour slides, black-and-white photographs, 35mm black-and-white negatives and black-and-white contact prints from the expedition to "Island Melanesia" in 1971. The photographers were Graeme Pretty and Anthony Crawford.

It is made up of grated yam, banana, manioc, or taro that is mixed with coconut milk and salt, wrapped up in banana leaves, then baked under hot stones (information from Wikipedia).
