'Supplementary Series
Peter Ravencroft wasn’t happy with these taken with the new Caunso SC using faulty dark slides[?], which let in the light and made the photos poor quality. He requested that they not go into the official series, but taken [?] replacement shots were taken and these thrown away.
In the meantime, these are being kept so that we have some record of the trip and the conditions of the site at the time.
