Photograph of the expedition camped at Tinga Tingana (SA). Tarpaulines have been spread over the stores and camel saddles for the purpose of both keeping dry and to catch water. Four expedition members appear in the photograph, (from left to right) Mahomet Salaam, Otto Rau, James Atkins and Captain White (see AA 365).
