Extensive annotations in blue pen, india ink and pencil include place names, personal names and notes on material culture using Aboriginal terminology. A note at top right reads: 'All data on this map is in La:dil [Lardiil]'. Forsyth Island is mentioned in the left margin notes. Personal names recorded by Tindale include Frank Charles, Barney Charles, 'Big Barneys country', 'Jacko's country', 'Simon and Roberts country' and Jimmy Waldron. Tindale's only dated annotation records times of data collection on 5 May 1960 (note on lower right).
