On a page preceeding the volume Tindale notes: 'The following notes are the residue of the rough ones made in the field and are superseded by my S.E. of S.A. journal II pages 1-. The earlier pages were clipped to go in the journal; these represented here are present in my journal with corrections and additions on xerox copies.' Tindale adds: 'also notes at Adelaide March 6-28th 1934 with Milerum, at Goolwa April 21-22 1934 with Reuben Walker and at Adelaide May 12-25th 1934 with Frank Blackmore'.
