This first documents the Board for Anthropological Research (BAR) expedition to Beswick, Northern Territory, during 12 August - 3 September 1961.

The party visited localities in the Northern Territory including: Alice Springs, Daly Waters, Katherine and Beswick. The cinematographer was AA Abbie (AA 688).
