The first half concerns the retrospection of the past year. The mission entered 1879 with great money troubles, but has managed to start off the new year with all debts being payed. This part also describes the teaching methods in the mission. The second half is written by Missionary FW Schwarz to the congregation; the weather conditions, the food supply and the grace of God.
