The reverse is annotated by Helene Burns: 'You could get water from this in a reasonable year. The footings were wooden, Helene recalls. The well was always uncovered but there were never any accidents. It was probably sunk in Carl Strehlow's (See AA 315) time and was filled in after Koporilja pipeline was completed.
According to Paul GE Albrecht (See AA 707) there were no wells used after the Koporilja pipeline was laid (Paul GE Albrecht (See AA 707) 3 March 2015)
