This item contains copies of the Board for Anthropological Research (BAR, see AA 346) sociological photographs relating to:

1. Expedition G, Cockatoo Creek, Northern Territory, 1931.
   Copies of sociological photographs of individuals with subject numbers G1-G85.
   This item is a complete copy of the BAR sociological photographs: G10, G39, G47-G50, G53, G55 are missing from both the JB Birdsell and the BAR sets. Note that not all individuals have both the profile and portrait photograph. The photographic prints measure 8.5 x 10.0cm. The anthropological data cards that these photos relate to are (see AA 689/9/9).
   
   
2. Expedition H, Mount Liebig, Northern Territory, 1932.
   Copies of sociological photographs of individuals with subject numbers H1-H85. This item is a complete copy of the BAR sociological photographs: H4, H52-H54, H58, H59 are missing from both the JB Birdsell and the BAR sets. Note that not all individuals have both the profile and portrait photograph. The photographic prints measure 8.5x10.0cm. The anthropological data cards that these photos relate to are (see AA 689/9/10).
