This item consists of 19 individual subject photographs taken by WE Roth (see AA 271), between 1898-1900, of people recorded in the report on 'the Aboriginals of the Pennyfather (Coen) River Districts, and other costal tribes occupying the country between the Batavia & Embley Rivers.'

These photographs were previously enclosed in a copy of the report, AA 689/9/21.
