Notes: This watercolour documents the more commonly used water vessels. Angas travelled by waka (canoe) on the Waikato River and had many opportunities to sketch the three small scenes of waka in sail. Waka is the generic term used for canoes.
- A waka tete (fishing canoe) with a carved figurehead on the prow and an undecorated stern post.
