There is one original watercolour within this frame.
Notes: Taituku stands wearing a korowai-ngore (cloak) of black twisted thrumbs that cover the surface of the garment and fringing along its edge, red woollen pompoms and stitching. The top end of the cloak has been folded over. He has a bunch of flowers above his forehead and a shark's tooth ear pendant in his left ear. Rahi is wearing a large pake (rain cape), holds a spear and two huia feathers in his hair .
