Notes: Rawide (David) or Rangiarawhaha was a Tuwharetoa chief who Angas met at the village of Te Rerenga in Wanganui. He wears a deep brown kahu kuri (dog skin cloak) over the top of a European blanket. He holds a wahaika (wooden hand club) with a small carved figure and (kaka) parrot feathers. He has a moko (traditional Maori facial tattoo). Faint writing under caption.
