Notes: The carved figure on the left is estimated to be 12 feet high. The carved figure on the right which is 11 feet in height, was noted by Angas to be a representation of Parihori and her infant son Tawera. The carving was commissioned by Te Whero Whero in honour of his favourite daughter.
