The photograph was taken outdoors and the shadow of the photographer can be seen on the subject's chest. There are no annotations on the photograph and it is not clear from the image where and when the photograph was taken, or who the photographer was. There is also a nitrate negative (AA 91/1/21) and an acetate negative (AA 91/1/11) of this image in this collection.
