This item consists of a black and white photographic print depicting a beached whale and a group of onlookers. Handwritten notes on a Post-It note accompanying the photograph indicate the whale is thought to be a Minke or Bryde's whale and is estimated to be 28 feet in length. The date of the photograph has not been determined but a handwritten note on the reverse side of the print states the location to be Hallett Cove, South Australia.
