The original has been used in Angas's South Australia Illustrated, plate number 32. The title of the watercolour is The Aboriginal Inhabitants and the plates differ;

3. Winter huts on the Lake
   
   
4. Bark hut near the River light.
   
   

Two figures and an animal has been added in Frame III.
