This series comprises one black and white (b/w) photographic print depicting a dwelling constructed of a tent, hessian bags and boughs over a framework of branches near Coolgardie, Western Australia. The print is stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 2 of 4'.
South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. This series was previously titled 'Photograph captioned Coolgarrie'. The exact source of the caption is not known and the since the spelling has been corrected the current series title now reflects this change. All place names and proper names from the annotations and caption have been indexed. Annotations found on the print have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.
