Describes descent from Mt Woodroffe after reaching the 'trig' point [summit]. Includes diagram of Mt Conner. Describes view looking north from summit - at a distance of sixty miles Mt Olga, Ayer's Rock and Mt Conner sighted. Use of setting fire to clumps of porcupine [bush] to indicate route of descent and use of bark torches to reach camp.
