[13 July 1933] Break camp and load camels to head south across the ranges via Trew's Gap. Allan [Brumby] (See AA 42) breaks the [camel] string into two sections to cross the worst part of Trew's Gap. [Camp at Pakiwandi camp fifteen] The following day describes collecting small birds, bell bird and lark, for the Ornithologist at the [SA] Museum. Return journey through sandhill country by way of Ilbil (Mt Kintore); Mt Crombie and Pinandi (Mt Harriet) which are briken granite hills on a plain of low sandhills running roughly in a north-westerly direction. [Note no mention of camp numbers sixteen and seventeen]
