Meet Jack Landers (in photograph 282 AA122/3/2/91). Describes the injuries to the cook, caused by being dragged from the back of mule while helping to break in. He was transported to Katherine Hospital then later flown to Darwin by [Dr Clyde] Fenton (1901-1982) then ultimately to Sydney. Further describes the Poinceanna tree (Delonix regia) with its long seed pods and the wild hybiscus (Hibiscus heterophyllus)
