This is the third of four volumes commencing on page 1157 and ending on page 1444. The volume has both a contents list and a handwritten 20 page index.
This journal is a compilation of notes and supplementary papers on campsites and implements. An introductory note to Volume 1 by Tindale reads:
'On return from the Harvard-Adelaide Anthropage Exped I found it desirable to start this journal to take care of the multitude of new pieces of information being acquired. The emphasis is on stone implements and on campsite data. Sketches of implements are usually natural size approximations and intended as guides to the original specimens when these are available in the South Australian Museum'.
