This is the first of two final film productions documenting the Board for Anthropological Research (BAR) expeditions to Haasts Bluff, Northern Territory, 11 August - 1 September 1956 and during unknown dates in August 1957.

The cinematographer was AA Abbie (AA 688) with assistance from GD Walsh.
